Sales Target Management

This course enables learners with Sales Target Management Skills. Sales Target Management measures current sales revenue and compares that to a target or past performance. The sales target can be set as either a monetary value, number of units sold, or number of accounts.
Monitoring sales performance against targets is a core tenet of any sales management strategy and is instrumental in creating a data-driven culture. One of the keys of setting a sales target is ensuring it’s visible to the entire team. Designing an effective sales target visual can have a huge impact.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn how to create a sales forecast for a store.
  • Analyse a store’s key performance and profitability indicators.
  • Develop a sales strategy for a store.
  • Learn how to create a sales plan based on a store’s sales forecast to support the sales target achievement. 
  • Learn how to organise resources, including the management of staff, for the most efficient utilisation. 
  • Recognise potential obstacles that may affect store performance and develop contingency.
  • Analyse problems that arise, alter plans and take corrective actions.
